From now on, recruiting for TDD with be active, not passive. Admins on the server will be able to invite a member to apply.

If someone is not invited to apply and they post an application, they are going to be rejected. If someone is invited and I don't hear from the person who invited them via email, xfire, or PM in 12 hours of thier post, they are going to be rejected.

This is because I'm tired of people who apply... and we don't know them. And they don't know us. They just want admin. They just want a tag. I want a community of people here who are a little bit more than that. I want people who want to be a part of the community, our little biosphere.

A lot of the applications lately have been terrible. We've had a few good ones as well. And I realized that I want to have a little more control over the process. Some might find this unfair, or favoritism, or whatever. Its not. It is, I believe, going to be a far more efficient system.

To my administrators: Invite the cool people, the people you love to play with, the guys who are fun in the server and aren't total jerks. Don't invite based on skill, invite based on how much you like them and whether or not you think they'll fit in and follow the rules. This doesn't change what TDD is. We're still a fun clan that's not too worried about being pubstars. We're just getting rid of some of the bad apps.
